So Why WordPress?

When I started to create websites believe it or not I used Microsoft Word.  Then my provider let me know that support for Word-related sites would not be available anymore.  I needed to move on to a new software to create my websites.  I liked Word because I could see what it looked like before I published the page.

Why did I need to create a website?  Well we had a small part time business and having a website was a necessity.  We couldn't afford to have one designed and maintained for us so it was up to me to find a way, and I did.  How?  It was at a family function when my husband's cousin (who happened to be a web designer) and I had a chit-chat.  One word she said to me - WordPress.  So I looked it up and I am so glad I did.

If you have worked with Microsoft Word, then you will get the hang of it. There are so many plugins that help you get the job done.  It is easy to use and I have never had any problems.  If you happen to run into a problem, just ask me and I will gladly look it up for you.

Try it out for yourself - go to www.worpress.com and sign up for a free account.  Or you can try it out with a Domain name and hosting for 3 months - only $15.00.  Just cancel if it is not what you want and keep your Domain name (has to be renewed every year).

Learn as you go, that is what I am doing.  Please be patient.
